The Chrome Set of Red Dwarf Trading Cards were far more uncommon than the Base Set, but relatively more common that the other sets. Around 50% of packs contained a Chrome Set card. They stand out from the Base Set because they are foil cards, or "shinies", giving them a shiny metallic finish and sheen. Like the Base Set, the Chrome Set was divided into five sub-sets: Spaceships (C1 to C3), Action Scenes (C4 to C9), More Character Photos (C10 to C15), Alternative Personalities (C16 to C23), and Monsters (C24 to C32).
