Radio Show Volume 1 Cassette

The blurb on the back of the Red Dwarf Radio Cassette describes it as being a "unique recording". That, however, could not be a more inaccurate way of describing the Red Dwarf Radio Show. A more accurate way of describing the Red Dwarf Radio Show would perhaps be a "familiar recording", or a "commonplace recording", or even "the same smegging recording you have already heard before, only with bits cut out of it to make it shorter and the lesser of the two options." This is because, in 1995, three years after the release of the unabridged audiobook of Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers, the BBC produced a twelve part radio show of that very recording, only shortened down. A fantastic idea in principle I am sure, but only a complete goit would write "unique recording" as the first words on the back!
