In 1993 a whole range of The Cat Tongue Tied merchandise became available, and this audio tape cassette was one such item. Side one features the Tongue Tied Edit, a version of the song that appears only on this cassette, and the Tongue Tied 7" vinyl release in this Tongue Tied Collection. On side two, you can find an instrumental version of the Red Dwarf Theme. If you have been checking out the full Tongue Tied Collection, you will have noticed that the Cat has a different colour suit depending on the media format. On the VHS and the 12" vinyl the suit is the classic pink of series I episode The End. On the CD and the 7" vinyl the suit is a deep  ̶m̶i̶l̶i̶t̶a̶r̶y̶  ocean blue. On this cassette however, there is a unique suit featured on no other cover art, the sky-blue suit.
