Okay okay OKAY, maaaaaaaaaaybe the true ultimate prize in Red Dwarf trading card elitism is actually this... the BLUE MIDGET edition of the Leather Album! It is once again the same soft, squishy leather cover. Once again the same shiny textured interior.

But there's one thing you should know. Last time we met I was showcasing a cute little black number with scarlet trim and gold spangles, and although it looks like I'm showcasing the same album today, it is in fact an entirely different cute little black number, with completely different gold spangles! You see, this time, the additional title embossed into the front cover underneath the Red Dwarf logo reads "Blue Midget"!

But wait, there's more! Released alongside the Blue Midget Edition of the leather album, was an entirely new unique 63 card set of the original base cards, but with a tiny little tweak making them all the rarer and more desirable!! That's right, they said it would never happen... but it has!!

Introducing the "Parallel" 63 card base set! It is the same design and artwork to the original base set, however the Futera Platinum logo, card name font & set info, and all illuminated embellishments are foiled in GOLD on the parallel set, as opposed to the classic silver on the standard base set (see the comparison examples below!). The whole card has a holographic, shiny foil appearance- particularly noticeable on the bottom right corner of each card where the Red Dwarf logo resides- and areas of cards that are white on the classic set are a shining chromic silver in the parallel set.
