Beat the Geek is a digital anomaly almost as bizarre as the Smeg Ups UMD-DVD. Released 23.10.2006, it is a fine example of an interactive DVD Game, a new and exciting form of entertainment media for those mid-Noughties Sunday afternoons. It is essentially a quiz game, with both Norman Lovett and Hattie Hayridge as Holly the Quizmaster. Word to the wise however, if you are planning on tracking down and playing this game yourself, you are going to need to swat up more than Duane Dibbley on extra strength spot cream, as the questions are hard. And I mean hard. So hard, you could put a Black and Decker drill on the disc and it can make it through walls, boy!
