Well, it was sort of inevitable. In a catalogue of Red Dwarf digital and memorabilial history, this is the elephant in the room. It had to come up eventually. So here goes...

This is the Red Dwarf US Pilot. Well, technically, pilots, as there was actually two of this non-starter monstrosities. Just the reimagined intro music to pilot #1 alone is enough to give any true Dwarfer a rage induced panic attack. Although never officially released, this case and its imaginary DVD contents gives us a glimpse of what such a product may have looked like. I know, it's more terrifying than the prospect of watching Rimmer's full slideshow presentation of his hiking holiday through the Diesel Decks, isn't it.
