Just The Shows Volumes I & II

Just The Shows Series I - VIII, released 09.11.2009, is spread across two volumes, and comes in a rather striking box featuring a collage of Red Dwarf episode stills and promotional material photos on the front. The individual volumes I and II were each originally released as stand-alone sets, in 18.10.2004 and 02.06.2006 respectively. Just The Shows is what is says, just the shows. No bonus features here, but a great, cost-effective way to fly far away from here and have fun fun fun in the sun sun sun.

Unique designs on the back of the volumes match that found on the main series I - XIII DVD back covers.
A nice touch for consistencies sake.
The design of the volume sleeves is one of inverse colours. Volume I (series I - IV) uses silver with black text and accents, while Volume II (series V - VIII) uses black with silver text and accents.
Unlike the monochromatic exteriors, the inside of the cases uses the vivid colour schemes of the associated original single series DVD cases. All that is, except series IV, which is presented in yellow, possibly as the original greyish beige would clash with the discs themselves.
