The Bodysnatcher Collection is a semi-mythical boxset for fans of the Dwarf, due to a backstory filled with misfortune, simulants, and fire. Well, two of those things anyway. You see, following the initial release of this boxset on 12.11.2007, the warehouse storing the remaining stock caught fire, destroying all the contents within, even the red alert bulb. This has made The Bodysnatcher Collection a highly sought after and expensive product.
Further adding to the desirability of this boxset, it represents the only DVD release of the 1998 Remastered versions of series I - III available for the UK market. It also includes plenty of bonus materials, such as documentaries, commentaries, the original shoot of S1E1 "The End" prior to the script re-write, and, of course, the titular namesake feature "Bodysnatcher". Specifically, this is a lost episode from the first series of Red Dwarf in story board form, and dramatised by Chris Barrie.
