It isn't just series VIII that gets it's own making of, series VI also received the star treatment with this behind-the-scenes book released 16.05.94. In honesty, it isn't so much the entirety of series VI, as much as specifically S6E3. Primarily a detailed day-by-day account of the recording of Gunmen of the Apocalypse, the book is still ram-packed with other delights, such as a general overview of series VI, storyboard sketches, behind the scenes photographs of the cast and crew, details on video effects and model effects, stage plans, and a description of the make-up process to turn Robert Llewellyn into Kryten. There is also a brilliant shot of a very 90's looking audience on page 86. That alone makes it worth tracking this fascinating read down.
